ABOUT JUDYJudy Pearson is the author of magazine and newspaper articles that have appeared around the country, and two non-fiction books showcasing ordinary people exhibiting extraordinary courage. Belly of the Beast: A POW's Inspiring True Story of Faith, Courage and Survival is the emotionally charged story about a naval corpsman turned POW. The Wolves at the Door: The True Story of America’s Greatest Female Spy is the story of Virginia Hall, an American woman whose remarkable activities as a spy in World War II France had never been told. Concurrently with her writing, Judy has conducted an intensive study of courage, specifically the unique qualities of women’s courage and courage in the workplace. This research has included interviews with leading psychologists as well as the stories of women, both historical and contemporary, who have exhibited strength and courage. Armed with both her research and a sense of humor, Judy speaks on the power of courage to organizations and corporations. Judy has been a writer and speaker for the past 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and did graduate study in psychology there as well. She is an avid college football and basketball fan, and she loves to travel and spend time in the great outdoors. She and her husband live in Arizona.
